When my airplane is not flying, the canopy fits snug on the left and right side. When it is airborne, the right side (for a lack of a better description) "bows" out and you can see daylight and of course airflow. Anybody else had or have this problem with a possible solution?

thanks,

Steve

"Bug" or "Feature"?

I am not sure if this is actually a problem, or just the result of the design, but Louise tells me that she can see a little bit of daylight between the canopy skirt and the fuselage from the backseat in flight. I think others have seen the same thing if I recall correctly. Of course, it doesn't bother me in the front seat, and since I am mostly in the south, I don't worry about extreme winter temps, so it has been a non-problem....

The aft gap

I too have seen this gap in flight. I think I have a picture somewhere that shows it. I know some regular passengers of RV8s will bring a towel and put it in the back to block the air flow.
