Excuse the sketch but do you think something like this would allow the canopy to be latched open during ground ops for ventilation yet protected from wind gusts blowing canopy open as what recently happened to one of our RV12's?

Also, for the Rv12 owners, would this interfere with the Van's canopy unlatched warning mod? I don't have this mod installed on my -12.
