Getting close to attaching the bubble to the frame on my 7a slider. The frame fits well except the distance from the fuselage to the side bows is about 3/16 instead of the suggestion 1/16. The slides are parallel and match the skin of the fuselage at the back. I can't move them out any farther. My concern is if I try to pull the side out more, the front tubes that fit into rollers won't line up. The side bows now perfectly match the shape of the fuselage. If anyone has a good method pulling the side bows a little more, I would appreciate your help. Thanks

Bending the slider frame

If you decide to bend the slider frame bows, I recommend using an electrical conduit tubing bender. I protected my frame tubes with tape. Go slow, a little bending makes a big difference. A big advantage with this method is the ability to bend the frame while it is in place on the airplane. The canopy, when attached, will spread the frame a little. It is an iterative process.
