All,
How important is the 3 1/4" dimension given in the upper left hand corner of drawing 44 for locating the front of the canopy. If I were to slide the canopy aft say 1/4 to 1/2 an inch more, would I be causing myself unforseen grief?

Thanks, that is what I wanted to hear. Just for the record, you said 2 and 1/2. Did you mean 3 and 1/2? Mine has moved farther aft. I am at 3 and 3/4 now and think I am ready for the big cut.

sikaflex gap is 3/16"

You must have meant 3/16" right? Thats the number in all the threads and in the Sikaflex literature.

To each their own, I personally have mine closer to the baggage compartment than most. As long as your have room for your transition molding who cares. I like mine because it gives the windscreen a more stretched look. I also used a Todds and it is glued. Todds makes a great canopy.
