I am deep into fitting the canopy and have encountered all the standard problems that I have seen on the forum and have worked through most of them however after fitting the windscreen today I see another that I am not sure how to address. I worked the canopy frame side rails per the plans to obtain the 1/16" inset from the outer mold line of the fuselage, now the forward edge at the lower corner of the canopy plexiglas is mismatched with the aft edge of the windscreen by the full thickness of the plexi (the windsreen is setting inboard on both sides) I rechecked the Roll bar inset from the fuse sides and it is per the plans as well. After revisiting those numbers on the calculator I am not clear how this can ever work as the gaps created are significantly different. Anyone have any ideas?

Is the windscreen cut long enough on the sides to overlap the forward skin approx half an inch? This will help it match the width of the sliding canopy.

Check your regualr email for a pic.
