So, I'm starting to work on my canopy and was wondering how much and what type of glass to buy from spruce. I already have the west systems resin and hardener.

I know I need,
Fiberglass cloth (weight/weave/ quantity?)
Resin pigment
Peel ply (how much?)
Flox
Microballons

Thanks guys

Good timing - me too!

I'm asking around for a cutting board and wheel; someone I know must have that.

You probably don't need more than a couple yards of cloth at most, the strips are not very wide and most are not too long. I used "standard" weight boat cloth which is 7.5oz/ sq yd. I got a small squeeze bottle of boat epoxy pigment on EBay and you will only use a fraction of the bottle. I used microballoons that I had on hand from R/C building but I guess a quart would be plenty. You only need enough peel ply to cover the top layer of glass while it is curing so maybe 6" wide x 5 feet would cover it all. Get lots of sandpaper :) and extra elbow grease.
