For what it's worth, the Sheraton in Appleton still had rooms when I looked earlier today - $499 per night.

Not to mention you get to wake up to the sound of P-51's in the morning, coffee at the pavilion and a lot of fun people to talk while browsing the daily paper before starting off on your day, hands down the best $35 I've ever spent!

One of the greatest things about having an Experimental plane, is the superb airplane camping locations and amenities at AirVenture and SunFun. However, if you’re Certified, you’re relegated to a spot that’s almost in Illinois or this hotel room that’s $$$.
