Recently I broke the clear lens cover on my strobe light. Casual factor was determined to be stupidity on my part. I ordered a Whelen A612 (shown in the picture) as a replacement, but stupidity struck again as it clearly isn’t the same shape as the base. I’m not able to figure out the correct lens to order. Does anyone recognize the brand and/or know which lens cover I need? Thanks.

Years ago, Whelen had a different lens that did not have the magnifier at the end that was a different shape. Most likely you have one of those older lens. I am not sure if I have any of the older catalogs or parts lists in storage that may have an old part number. It is possible that the older part got superseded by what is currently being sold. One may be able to find a older dealer than has new OLD stock that is what you want.

A company called aero flash Made light assemblies that looked very similar to Whelen but the strobe lens was a different shape.
That is probably what you have.
The aero flash strobe supplies have covers with cooling fins on them.

Most likely a Whelen nav/strobe

Looks like a Whelen.

I had these on a classic/vintage.

The power unit was a Comet Flash (cycle was four quick flashes to the strobe).
