I have been having a high CHT problem on my #1 cyl of my Superior IO-360. I found that the problem was that I had too much of the front side of the cyl covered with my baffle and have now trimmed it down, quite a bit. Now I have the opposite problem. My #1 cht is quite a bit colder than the others. Is it a problem to have one cyl too cold? Should I build up my baffle to get all the CHTs about the same, or is it OK to have one cold cyl? It is about 30 degrees cooler than than the rest.

What literal temperatures are you seeing?

What has been your maximum CHT differential?

Do you see one cylinder cooling much faster than the other?
