I am converting to a constant speed prop and I was looking at Vans website and I noticed he has two cables for an RV8, one 55" and one 60". Which one do you normally use and what makes the requirement for a 60 vs 55? I already have the 3 position quadrant.

55" is standard for RV-8 aft mounted Governor.

60" is standard Throttle / Mixture, but 52" for Superior Sump Mixture.

However, each installation / Engine layout can differ, so please only value to above advice as to how much you paid for it
