Hi Chuck,
We placed the control knob on the left side, under the upper longeron, out of the way. Then we went through the firewall on the left side and curved the cable 90 degrees toward the heatbox. You have to fabricate a standoff from a piece of aluminum tubing, an Adel clamp and a 3/16" bolt through it all in order to make the end of the cable align with the lever on the heatbox.
