I assume you're building a tipper?
No; it's actually better to keep it clecoed during the initial fitting. You'll find that you'll need to adjust the slot where the canopy plexi transitions to the side rails, which is best done off the frame.
I installed all the forward and edge clecos, and only the aft clecos between the hinge brackets (these attach to the aft tube on the tip-up frame). The canopy fits well around these.
I just finished the fitting/priming/painting and will be riveting my 702 on this weekend. I expect to make some fine adjustment to the canopy fit once the entire frame is riveted together.
