what would be the first thing to do when starting the fuselage build, I read the first page. the kits in a big box!!!!

Start viewing various builder's logs, (not just one) to get insight and make a choice good for you.

I tried to group parts together and use the 'big box' as storage. Vans's does a pretty good job, but knowing where parts are you can use the big box as a work bench, then open up the lid and grab the part with out with digging through the entire crate.

Seems like the 7 fuse starts with the firewall then all the bulkheads.

Organize everything!

Inventory against the packing list. Organize. I suggest turning the crate into a set of shelves with parts grouped together so you can find them later and doesn’t take up a lot of floor space. Not super sturdy but holds parts nicely since aircraft parts are not heavy. When done, it goes on the burn/trash pile.
