Even tho I'm an AF type, there is a lot of history and general information contained here. These go back into the early days-1943- and can provide a lot of goof-off reading materials.

Naval Aviation News has one more issue, and will then fade into history as they are ceasing publication.

You can click on a year, then a month so that it is possible to read every edition that has ever been published.
You can save this web site in your Favorites/Bookmarks and return to the site and read at your leisure.

Thanks, Vern. I always enjoy reading aviation history. Now if I can just find some of that "goof-off" time!

Don

P.S. I just visited the March, 1948 issue and found an article beginning on page 18 about Air Force planes of that day. Seems the Navy wanted their pilots to be able to recognize the Air Force planes. 10 minutes of "goof-off" time well spent!
