Although I haven't kept records, it feels like 6,000 to 8,000 hours over a three year period. OK that's a gross exaggeration, but it does feel that way sometimes. I'm down to the Skyview Avionics now and hope to be flying by May (of this year!).
Would I do it again? ABSOLUTELY! POSITIVELY! This project has been very enjoyable, and still is.
