I bought this -8A three months ago. (Not getting a nit-picky Condition Inspection-type prebuy was my mistake, but that?s another topic. At least I?m learning valuable lessons and next plane purchase will be better.)

Shortly after bringing it home, I found this:

Edit: Photo not showing - I?ll find a different photo hosting site that doesn?t require membership to view.

The Adel clamp on the right exhaust bracket (Vetterman exhaust) was broken. I replaced the clamp, and today found it broken again. The left side is intact and doesn?t show any problems.

What do I need to do for a permanent solution? Entirely new exhaust bracket system? Re-do parts of the existing one?

No picture, but the exhaust brackets need to be secured to the ENGINE, not the mount or the airframe. This may be your problem.

Ah, copy that. This bracket is a horizontal tube, crimped at each end, and secured to the engine mounts with loosely-fitting Adel clamps so that it can slide vertically. The crosspiece is attached to the exhaust pipes with Adel clamps.
