I need a booster cushion for the right seat so my partner will get the same over-the-nose view as I do. We find the seats comfortable enough, so a light, rigid booster about 1 1/2 inches thick is needed. I could cover it with fabric if needed.
The easy-to-get polystyrenes foams look good but samples burn readily and the smoke is toxic I'm told. Perhaps some of the rigid foams used in composites would work.
Another idea I had was to build it in alluminium, sheet top and bottom with a corrugated al sheet filler.
Anyone out there found a solution?
