While on the surface the sharing of databases to reduce cost sounds attractive it amounts to theft.
Right now I do not believe there are any technical hurdles to overcome in doing this with BMA products. A downloaded database will probably install nicely on an infinite number of units.
Unfortunately once BMA suspects this is going on then we will all suffer having to go through a convoluted set of procedures like Garmin's to obtain our downloads.
