Preparing the last parts before assembling the wings. Used a tub to immerse the ribs in alodine. Nice golden finish. Wing skins are way too big for the tub. So I used a hudson sprayer to spray Alodine on the skin while it drained into the tub. After rinsing and drying, all the skins are blue. Not like the little dark blue stain you get from a drop drying but a uniform light blue/gold. I'm guessing this is from too much reaction with the Alodine.

Is it worth re-etching these and trying again or folks think I should leave well enough alone and apply the primer?

I would leave alone and prime straight away - do not touch the surface ... I assume you are using a Epoxy primer and NOT a etch primer ?
