Anyone know if Beringer balances their wheels before delivery? Thought I would solve my shimmy with a Beringer but still shimmies.....

I fly a Cirrus that has the Beringer wheels. We had a horrible vibration after take off. Not a shimmy, but a spin down shake. It was the nose wheel verified with a video. Shook like a wet dog.
Cirrus, in it's infinite wisdom said you could not balance the wheel. I contacted Beringer directly after getting the big blowoff from Cirrus warranty department and low and behold, you can balance their wheels.

Not sure if this will help with the shimmy, but you can balance a Beringer wheel.

Beringer wheels are superb, but they can be let down by poor quality tires

After installing a Beringer nose wheel I experienced bad shimmy, but it wasn’t a balance problem. I went through three Aeroclassic tires before finding one that was round.

I’d recommend lifting your nosewheel and giving it a spin.
