Check Mic lines
from the audio panel or to the radio, or from jacks to radio if you don't have an audio panel. If you don't have sidetone, chances are there is no voice been transmitted out either. If you can verify that there is voice out (listening on a handheld), there are some pots on the top or botton of radio (can't remember exacltly) One of them is labeled s/t, try adjusting that one. You are going to have to pull the radio out, adjust and try again until you find a comfortable level. Hope this helps.
