It seems I'm the first to notice that Bendix-King announced the release of their KLR10 AOA system and impending release of several other panel-mount avionics including a Mode S transponder and an integrated nav/com/GPS to compete with the Garmin and Avidyne units.

This is interesting news from the company that went from being the leading name in panel-mount avionics to having virtually an empty bag of tricks. I'm glad to see them making a comeback and am looking forward to reports from folks at OSH on how these units look, feel etc etc.
