To all those been there already.

I have sucessfully managed to sika my sliding canopy frame and windscreen without any hassle much to my relief. As some have said before, its a lot easier than I thought and not so much stress was required. Basically just get on with it.

I do need to tweak my frame in by 3mm at the front and want to see how others have achieved this in the past. Thus far I have tried the clamp method, clamping in 100mm from free state with no change once released. I am getting nervous going any further but want my canopy to run trully free.

Any sugestions.

If it's only 3mm, why not try chamfering the outside edge of the rollers a bit?

Mine is a bit wide as well. Next time I have it off I plan on chucking the wheels up in the lathe and taking the edges down a bit.
