Has anyone ever tried the headsets advertised in Trade A Plane for $69.95 from Warren Gregoire in San Leandro CA? If so were you happy with them? The ad states that they were rejected for a minor cosmetic flaw. Seems like a good price.

I bought a couple of them several years ago. They are not noise conceling and pretty lightweight (not very robust construction). I use them for backup of if I have a passenger I do not like. They still work aftyer 10 years.

Here is a decent headset for the price...... http://www.pacificcoastavionics.com/products/476-pca-9t.aspx

Not noise canceling. They are made by lightspeed. They work good in my 6A.

And about the same headset from Aircraft Spruce:

By the time you add foam earseals the price is about the same as the Pacific Coast version. I have the ASC version for passenger use and with my open cabin Legal Eagle and it is a good value if you need an inexpensive headset.
