I'm trying to fine tune my engine now that it's all back together.

My #1 is about 50 degrees cooler than the other 3. It has a 3" dam in front of the wide part of the cylinder and a 1.5" dam on the barrel. The one on the barrel is bent back to fit the curve of the barrel better. I tried removing both dams and it ran 100 degrees cooler.

The other 3 are not hot. 315-320 so I need to warm #1 up.

What has worked in the field? Maybe taping the fins closed?

First thing I would do is swap the CHT probes for #1 and #3 to make sure it is not a probe problem.
