After trimming my baffles to the cowling with the recommended clearance I have a question that I hope the group can help. I have bonded in the fiberglass pieces to the top inner cowling at the inlet area already. I have trimmed the outer forward baffles to match the upper "ramp" but I am not sure what to do on the inner baffles behind the starter gear. Do I trim those to match the new profile or do I trim the ramps back to let the baffles ride up against the inner cowling? I really don't understand how it's supposed to work...

trim the baffle

I think you could do either, but I trimmed the baffle to match the cowl. Much faster and easier to trim aluminum with snips than to keep re-working fiberglass, in my opinion.
