I am working on my baffle fabric install and there is a slick amount of puckering around the rivets which I understand is normal. I'm was thinking about whether it makes sense or would help to RTV the back side of the fabric along the edge of the metal baffle. This would stop any air from escaping through the puckers. The other option would be to seal along the bottom edge of the fabric which would also stop air escape.

I would recommend a vertical slit at each rear corner. As you install top cowl bend the sides down first then overlap them with the rear piece. They will be stiff for the first two or three test flights, then you will be able to easily see where they are not making good contact. I check mine among other things with a mirror and flashlight on every preflight from home base. Seal all gaps with ht silicone then use a light to double check for gaps.

A strip of aluminum as a backing under the rivet heads will spread the load, and help with the pucker factor.
