The instructions with the baffle kit tell you to fabricate some "retention clips" out of .040 material and put a jog in them where they overlap the adjoining piece of metal, which is also about .040.

I am at a loss as to how you put a "jog" that small in the retention clip. Am I not understanding the instructions? Seems like I am missing something here.

Baffle clips

Hi Tony

Just doing the same.Take a piece of scrap .040 material and cut a 5/32 slot long enough for the joggle length. Then slide the part to be joggled in to the slot and twist to lay flat (make sure that the joggle will be in the right direction when done )once its in the right position place it all in a bench vice with the slot between the jaws and tighten down as far as you can .Remove from vice and hey presto one joggle ,give it a go on some scrap firts. Good luck.

Clamp a 2 inch long piece of stock in a vise with about an inch sticking up. Bend that sticking up end about 30 degrees.
Loosen the vise and slide the stock upwards about 1/8 inch. Tighten vise.
Straighten the stock.

Voila

Make another one, if reqd.
