Bruce - thank you very much for that ! Without wanting to be a pain is there anywhere on the OP-27 drawing that shows the exact positioning of the FF-709 oil cooler doubler on the baffle ? I am relying on the baffle drawings at the moment and sadly there isn't enough detail there for me to safely postion it ! Thanks for the email

I am at the same stage with baffles, and there is no particular place for the oil cooler - just "as high as possible" to facilitate air flow through it. But be careful not to get it too high as it will interfere with the cowling (I'm hoping mine is not too high....). I am considering adding another doubler (probably .063) on the forward right side of the cooler bracket (inside the baffles) to make sure I don't end up with vibration cracks in the baffles.
