I'm much obliged to B&C for their parts and technical support while troubleshooting an unstable system voltage problem. Nathan and TJ at B&C spent considerable time with me discussing possible solutions while providing a new voltage regulator and conducting a bench check on my alternator, all at no charge. B&C's customer support is outstanding.
Neither the voltage regulator or the alternator was the culprit. I finally tracked the system fault to a bad avionics CB. My EFIS and EIS are powered by the avionics bus which receives its power through the avionics CB. Both showed wandering voltages (12.5-14.0). Replacing the CB solved the problem.
Bravo Zulu is Navy speak for well done. While not a sailor I did spend much time with the Navy and always liked the term and its intent.
Happy building and flying to all.
