Installing the bearings to the main gear axle was not hard, just time consuming. I had to polish the axles down as much as .005 in some places using alum oxide strips etc ( much about this in the archives).
But (and there is always a but it seems) the left axle where the inner bearing rides is too loose, the bearing race is free to spin, this without polishing at all.
Will this cause problems ( I can just see smoke comming out on the first landing)
and is there any way to correct this problem?
