My RV7 slider avionics area is generating enough heat that the warm air rising is causing dash pad to puff up.

I don?t want to vent from the top and cut the panel and doing a search I have seen some threads about computer fans etc.

Currently, I am running, GRT HXr which I don?t think has a fan in it? I can?t remember as of this posting.

What have others done, multi computer type fans / aviation avionics type fan.

The dash on the 6 is too small for a fan with the support pieces installed, so I put one at the bottom of the panel blowing up. It does a nice job of circulating fresh air in that area. I also had a fan installed above the top radio pulling air from the area forward of the bulkhead, but removed it. These are the smaller computer fans.

Seems to work well.
