I apologize if this isn't the place for this question but here goes...
We have a jet that we are doing some major cockpit work on including a semi-new avionics package. The owner does not want to upgrade his Avidyne Flightmax 650 MFD to something that was made in this century so I'm stuck with it. Does anyone have any experience with it? I want to run it with arinc 429 out of the 430 but I can't get the thing to go into the maintenance mode to configure the ports. I know it's not a complicated piece but it refuses to cooperate. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Stein, you ever played with one of these dinosaurs?
