I'm New Here
Hi everyone. I am finishing up a friends RV6 kit and wondering which autopilot best suits my application. Its is a VFR panel with one Comm and transponder. Dynon D10 EFIS. No panel mount GPS but I intend on using the IPad for situational awareness. I wound like a 2 axis autopilot but don't want to break the bank in the process. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Dynon has an affordable autopilot that can be controlled entirely by the D10. I don't think it has to be a D10A. I use my D100 to control my autopilot and love it. It would cost around $1,650 to get both servos and installation kits. As far as for the GPS, I mounted my portable Garmin Area 500 to the face of my panel and it also serves as the NAV source for the Autopilot.

I see your user name, I have a 1996 Collectors Edition Corvette which is silver.
