i am ready to attach my stab. ribs to the aft and forward spar. using the pop rivits there is no question how the rivit faces that holds the rib to the spar but on the aft spar with the ''clip'' the rib attaches to is there a preference to having the factory head on the flange side of the web ? is any consideration given to putting the factory head of the rivit on one side of the web or the other?
thanks for any input. i am inclined to put the rivit in the way that will make the job easiest and most likely to make a sound rivit.

As long as both the ribs and the clips are the same material thickness, I can't see any reason it would matter in which direction the rivets are installed, other than which is easier to assemble.
