The new looking one on left I recently purchased so I am comfortable it is LP4. The one on the right is one of many that came with my RV-6A kit years ago and I am not sure if it is just a different manufacturer of LP4 or is it a different rivet? I learned early on that all nylock nuts did not look the same. What about these LP4s?

Looks like an Avex pop rivet to me.

Same experiene. My older ones look like the dull grey one on the right. Newer ones look like the shiny ones on the left. Both work fine.
