I need to send them in for an IRAN. Just wondering if there are any gotchas in the removal process?

Remove plug harness, remove the 2 retaining nuts & washers, pull back gently & don't drop it on your foot!
Get installation & timing instructions from the overhaul shop when you pick them up.
Be mindful that the mags are live when you disconnect P-lead.

You might also check with the overhaul shop. To see if you should remove the drive gears. Some do some don’t.
