Anyone tried the LED MR-16 bulbs for their landing/taxi lights? The MR-16 bulbs are what was used with the CreativeAir (and others I think) wingtip lights; the latest LED MR-16 bulbs from Soraa claim to be a replacement for the 75W bulbs used in those units. Prices seem to be about $35 +/- which seems like it's a bit much, but by the time I run through my stash of MR-16 bulbs I expect these to have come down a bit.

Most cheap / non-aviation LED bulbs, when installed seem to work well.

I have MR16s in the wingtips for recognition

i have MR-16's on my lancair, i hate them, furthermore, i can never find 24v compatible bulbs

i saw this and got excited, but these are all 12v, the LED ones i bought off amazon are much deeper than my socket will allow, do consider this aspect when ordering
