Today was a great flying day.. I got up early and flew to Putnam county to meet up with some of the RV guys from Indy.. then flew on to Sprotys pilot shop fly-in at Clarmont County. I had to leave early to make my son's baseball game (his team won!!! yeah...) After the game, My Daughter and I flew up to visit family in Elmira, NY.

On landing in Williamsboro-johnson PA, one of my tires went flat.. We were stuck on the runway. After shutting down, my daughter and I walked over to the big hanger on the field and found a local rock band was just finishing up shooting a Rock Video in the Hanger.. I found Wes McKinney (the airport manager, and fellow home builder) and told him about my problem. He dropped everything and lent me the tools to help remove the damaged wheel pant, to look at the wheel..

We found that with the wheel pant removed, the tire would not hold air.. he helped to put the bad wheel on a dolley, and tow the plane back to the hanger.
