I guess this is not strictly an RV related question. But I noticed you can fly into the Fleet Week air show next weekend. wingsoverhouston.com

I'm still a low time pilot who stumbles over radio call all the time so I am hoping to get some practice in before Oshkosh next year. Would this be a good opportunity?

Any one ever fly into it and have some tips?

Get in before the airport is shut down for the airshow. Which usually starts around 9am. I've seen many that have flown in. I think you have to stay until the Blues are done with their performance.
