I have ordered a heated pitot tube bracket from gretzaero twice. Once by email and once by phone. I actually made the order by phone with the owner but it has been a month and half and still no pitot tube. Has anyone had a similar experience? Does anyone have any suggestions on another vendor for a pitot tube? I need to finish this wing. The fuselage will be here shortly.

I ordered my Gretz pitot mount from Stein Air (http://www.steinair.com) and received the mount a few days later. They also sell the pitot tubes, but it looks like they are out of stock. You might want to look at the Falcon heated pitot or the new Dynon heated pitot. If I recall correctly, the Dynon is $450 and weighs less than the Gretz (including control unit).

HA! I tried reaching Gretz via email.

No response.

Me too, tried by e-mail, 2 months ago, no response ever.

Bought my Gretz mount from A/C Spruce, had it the next day.

They should refer all their customers directly to their stocking distributors.

Distributors service aggressively.
Some manufacturers give service aggressively, or not at all, to the end user.

Pick the link in the supply chain that services you how you want to be serviced.

BTW the mount looks great.
