Brian - I saw your message re antenna positions.

The transponder will go on the flap of skin between the wing and fuse. The lead too it goes down the diagonal roll bar brace from the top rail.

Just my ideas. Doesnt make it right!

I mounted a single exterior steel comm antenna on the Bandit under the belly aft of the rear seat. I heated it and bent it even more so it cleared the ground. All other antennas were internal. I mounted the GPS on top of the fuselage under the rear part of the canopy, worked well. I mounted the transponder in the left wingtip. My Rocket is set up exactly the same except all my GPS antennas (3)Old Apollo & Garmin 396+Nexrad are under the cowl mounted to the firewall. On another subject, I used LED wingtip/strobe lights and really like them. Cheers...
