My aircraft (lancair) came with com antennas installed in the wings. There is a BNC connector in coming out of my wing that I need to hook another lenght of coxial cable to and then to my com.
My question is this: The current cable in the wing is RG58U coaxial cable. Can I use RG142 or the new RG400 to run to com? Is is compatible with RG58U?

Thanks

Man you guys are fast! This has to be THE BEST experimental aircraft forum out there.

Just a gentle reminder.......this forum is dedicated to discussions concerning RV aircraft. Yes, it is a great forum. :)

Yeah we be about RV's, but is kinda fun to see a Lancair guy asking questions and getting faster answers than his airplane:D
