I?m working my way through the aft fuselage and yesterday countersunk the nutplate attachment holes in the Battery Angles. Reading ahead in the plans I have, I can?t see any use for these nutplates . I?m sure there is, probably in a following kit, but just interested in what they are for.
Waiting for enlightenment!

Nutplates

I believe you are talking about the holes that get used in Section 36 while installing the Elevator system push/pull tubes and bellcrank.

Also autopilot pitch servo (and yaw servo if you choose). Those plans pages sections (56/57/58, depending on brand used) will come with the installation kit. And forward of that there is room for some avionics - transponder for instance.

They're called battery angles because they are the same part nos. used to support the battery in the RV-10. The RV-14 battery is on the firewall as are the solenoids. Those brackets also hold the elevator tube bellcrank and the pitch servo.
