Does anyone have a 12 volt annunciator for a Garmin 480? I bought one with a used 480 but it is 24 volt. Or is there any way to make the 24 volt work with a 12 volt system. I know I don't need it, but have already cut the hole for it in my new panel.

Disregard post. Used a step-up voltage contverter.

Most annunciators have resistors in them for powering the internal LEDs. You could change out the internal resistors to make them work on 12V. They're pretty simple inside.

Yes, but it appeared I would have to change about 14 or so--one per light. Easier to add a $20 converter to supply 28 v to the annunciator.
