Hi,
I was fabricating my flap brace parts this evening and couldn't find any .063 x 3/4" x 3/4" angle anywhere. After about an hour of looking I crawled up in the attic to check and see if I stuck it with the longeron stock. Wow! Besides the two pieces of .125" angle I remembered, there's 3 sticks of 12' long .063 x 3/4" too. It appears that this is longeron stock as well.
I'm guessing I'm supposed to use some of this for the FL-406C pieces. It would only be about 10" total length. (2ea 5" pieces). Can anyone verify that it's okay to use this some of this stock for this before I ruin my longeron stock?
I did find a post by Kevin Horton on the Matronics list saying that you need 2 105" lengths and 2 57" lengths of the .063" stock for longerons. Does this sound about right?
