I just bought an Andair OS850 (used).
I need information on where and how to mount it.
ie. If on the firewall, does the firewall need reinforcing?
I would appreciate seeing photos.
Here are a couple of photos showing how I did it on my RV-7.
Some people position them high up and centrally on the firewall supported on the top firewall support angle.
I chose to put it lower down and under the top-left engine mount bolt as I think it offers a better routing for the breather hose.
With your nosewheel engine mount I believe you'll have even more flexibility on positioning in this area.
I made my own bracket from some large size angle. The bracket is bolted to the diagonal firewall angle and a triangular doubler. I did much the same for the CT850 condensation trap.
