OK. Someone explain to me why anchor nuts are now so expensive. I just bought 100 6/32 anchor nuts from Wicks, $43.00 for 100. When I built my -6 I remember they were a a nickel a piece.

What's up with that? Is it Boeing that's driving up fastener prices?

I believe you are competing with Boeing! The screw ups with he 787 fasteners now means they are taking up a large proportion of world production capability to try and replace/repair the offending items.

Check with B&B Aircraft Hardware. He doesn't have a web site, but is listed in the RV Yeller Pages. His prices on hardware are great.
