Ok, need some help finding a part/ part number. Looking for a 90 degree bulkhead fitting. Cockpit side is -6 and firewall side is -4.Both flared tube. The one I have is a straight fitting, but a 90 degree would work so much better.
Is there such a beast?

Thanks

Smoking

What are you using it for? might be easier to change the hose end.
Tom

It's the bulkhead fitting for the smoking airplanes system. It's a -6 hose inside the cockpit, and a -4 from the bulkhead fitting to the injector. I could split the hose and install a barbed fitting, but prefer to do it with a bulkhead fitting if possible.
Here is a link to a post that shows the pic of an installed barb fitting, the bulkhead fitting will keep it tight to the firewall and look tidy.

Bulkhead fitting

A reducing bulkhead fitting (90 degree or straight) does not exist in the AN8XX and AN9XX series. The AN919 reducer is as close as you're going to get with a store bought fitting, but this lacks the bulkhead nut. If you know a machinist you could get a custom fitting made, although the 90 degree end would be costly. A straight bulkhead reducer would be cheaper. Or you could get an adapter made with a flange and smaller body drilled through and tapped the appropriate NPT size on each end. The flange gets riveted onto the firewall and you screw in an AN822 (Elbow, flared tube and pipe thread 90 degree) on one end and an AN816 (Nipple, flared tube and pipe thread) on the other end.

2 peices

Corrected post.

AN833-6D and AN894-6-4D (Corrected) with a ms28778-6 o-ring. This is if you need the bulkhead feature. Maybe some bulkhead nuts if you need them.

Do not torque the AN894-6-4D as it seals at the base with an o-ring.

You could also use an NAS1564-6-4D held on with an818-6D B-nut.

If you do not need the Bulkhead feature, use an AN919-6D

I hope this helps.
