Today is the third anniversary of my first flight in my RV8. It took me 8 years and 8 months to finish the project.
Over the last 3 years, I have completed 293 sorties in this aircraft, accumulating 252.3 hours on the Hobbs travelling primarily in Ontario with a trip to Nova Scotia and Oshkosh. A lifetime of memories created as a result.
Just picked up a removable ferry tank and a new Andair valve to accomodate it that I will install while the plane is down for the annual inspection. A 32 gallon tank for the rear seat. I have a big plan that my wife says I won’t be doing….hmmmm, need to figure that one out.
For those building, keep banging away…it’s well worth the investment!
